United Beverages S.A. finalizes the acquisition of MBWS Polska and Polmos Łancut
United Beverages S.A. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Marie Brizard Wine and Spirits Polska and Polmos Łańcut. The closing of the transaction took place on October 21, 2020. MBWS Polska has been renamed to Premium Distillers and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the United Beverages Group. The group consists of companies such as United Beverages S.A, Distribev Sp. z o.o., Alco-Trade Sp. z o.o., Premium Distillers Sp. z o.o. and Polmos Łańcut S.A.
This transaction will enable the United Beverages Group to further develop its vision of establishing a leading, integrated, and Polish-based FMCG group with a specific focus on the alcoholic beverages segment. Furthermore, the current agreement will allow MBWS and United Beverages Group to work closely as partners. Premium Distillers will continue to produce Sobieski vodka (a brand that will remain the property of MBWS S.A.) at the distilleries covered by the sale. Additionally, through the implementation of a new distribution agreement, a significant amount of MBWS’ international brands will be imported by United Beverages.
